Pop Flavours and Their History

Hluhluwe - This is a Zulu word and refers to a town in Zululand where many a pineapple are grown.  Hence, this pop has pineapple as its main ingredient and also features a little bit of shiza or spice with cayenne pepper added in.

Grove - The Grove Pop is named after an area of Miami, Florida called Coconut Grove.  When Stephanie was pregnant with her first child, she lived there and craved cantaloupe and ginger -- two key ingredients in this pop.

Talbot - Talbot, Oregon is where Stephanie's father lives.  Within walking distance of his house and also at his house are many plum trees.  This area grows a lot of mint also so the Talbot Pop features mint and plum.

Provence - Hello summer in the South of France with lavender fields a plenty.  This pop features lemons and lavender and is sure to delight with a twist on the standard lemonade.

Summer - What is your vision of a summer day? Well, ours involves watermelon and this pop is so refreshing with its combination of watermelon, cucumber and basil.  Don't you wish summer lasted all year long? Well this pop might be the next best thing to that...

Wonder - The Wonder Market was our first ever market and a market that is near and dear to us because we have helped with it since the beginning.  We wanted to make a pop that really epitomized the Wonder Market and the Durban area.  So, this pop is a twist on the Indian Mango Lassi drink and dessert with added nectarines and sweetened with agave.

Vervet - With three kids in the house, we thought we'd design a pop geared towards the younger population and the furry friends who visit us frequently, the vervet monkeys.  The Vervet features bananas, peanut butter and vanilla yogurt.  Sure to please the kid in you!

Crisp - This is an Autumn pop that is reminiscent of a crisp Fall day and an oven with Apple Crisp baking.  This pop leaves you wanting more and more with its creamy caramel and cinnamon flavours.

Splash - We are lucky enough to live in a place where both pears, apples and citrus are all in season at the same time.  Splash takes a trio of citrus fruits and creates a tangy combo and splash of flavours.  This is a real hit with the younger crowd who like sour flavours.

Oregon - The pear is the state fruit of Oregon, a western state in the USA.  Pear is the star in this delightful combo of pear, ginger, almond and cream.  This pop leaves you wondering what flavour will linger next.

Strawberry Shortcake - Everyone clamours for strawberries and brightly coloured pops it seems.  This pop was born out of a bounty of strawberries found at the market.  Sweet brightly coloured strawberries combine with vanilla yogurt to make a show stopping pop!
